Hail to the Victors...

It's been a rough season for Charlotte's first fall of Michigan football, but she follows in her Great Grandmother's footsteps and remains a true and loyal fan. She thinks that her Wolverines are going to shock the world tomorrow. Charlotte prediction Michigan 27 Thugeyes 24. GO BLUE!!
PS - Charlotte has outgrown all her old Michigan clothes- hence the goofy getup in this picture.

Feels like the first time!!

Mmmmm, delicious food! Tonight Charlotte took the most important of steps - she ate her first baby food! First it was just formula, then it was rice cereal (lumpy formula), after that she had oatmeal cereal (lumpy flavored formula), and at long last she got to eat Sweet Potatoes! She seems to take after Dad yet again as she seemed to really enjoy the potatoes. Note that she has some in her hair in the picture above.

This about says it all, doesn't it.

I can't believe what I was missing out on! Next up - the pizza buffett with Dad!

You give me back that food!

I am stuffed, these fingers are the only thing left to put in my mouth.

Terrapin Station..

Charlie is becoming more and more comfortable with tummy time, which is nice. Here she plays with one of her favorite toys, Terry Turtle. Terry plays an infectious song about counting that will get in your head and happily rattle around all day.

Charlotte enjoys the fall colors, as the tree in our front yard finally turned and lost its leaves all in one week.

Charlie in the leaves.

I like leaves..

Charlie in the sky with leaves.. CSL

Charlotte sits with her dog for her Five Month picture.

Reach out and touch me..

Where's my turtle dude?

I know I'm having a bad hair day stuffed dog, but you can shove your comments up your...
Another eventful week in the life of Charlotte. She reached the Five month milestone on Thursday and decided to celebrate by catching her first cold on Friday night :( She has been handling it well during the day but has trouble sleeping at night because of the congestion. Thus Mom and Dad have had trouble sleeping as well. She seems to be doing a little better and we hope it passes soon. This week she has also started really swinging her right arm up and down, leading us to believe she is right handed.

I come from a land down under...

Kangaroo Charlotte sits between her pumpkins.
Who turned out the lights?

Check out my Joey!

You ain't nothin' but a kangaroo...thank you, thank you very much.

A Joey is a baby kangaroo, I'm surprised you didn't know that.

Mom and her lil' Roo.

Check out my tail!

Grandma's Rose and Brenda hang with their favorite Marsupial.

Grannies look excited, as does Charlotte.

Charlotte can sit up on her own...for a few seconds at least.

Charlotte has been eating rice ceral for several weeks now, but she has become quite the expert at this point. She loves to eat and lunges forward toward the spoon.

Another big milestone for us this weekend, as we left Charlotte for a weekend for the first time. She stayed with Grandma and Grandpa and had a great time. Here she is eating her rice ceral complements of Grandpa. Mom and Dad survived and Charlotte did very well with her Grandparents. Thank so much Grandma and Grandpa!!!
