In my next thirty years..

Charlotte hangs out with Mom and Dad while celebrating Dad's 30th birthday with just a few friends.

Charlotte-Bear, just too cute to leave out of this post..

Charlotte hangs out with friends Elyse & Dylan as Daphne and Heather look on.

More fun with a little help from her friends..

Charlotte conquers her "stranger phobia" and hangs out with Julie this past Saturday.

Oh No- there is a big hillbilly attached to my butt!!

Charlotte chews on Aunt Daphne's bracelet..

Charlotte and Dylan kick it with Elmo and Granny Brenda...

Grandpa Marc and Granny Rose hangin out by the liquor..

The Aagenas and Johnson Clan's mug for a photo...
Today is the day for me, 30 years in the books. All I can hope for is that the next 30 will be as happy and filled with love as the past 30 have been. Thanks to everyone for all their birthday wishes.

I Miss(ed) You...

I don't feel so well..
Better now though..looks like I'm just dancin..
Ha, you did what on your trip?

No more photos please...just explain to the good people...

Charlotte smiles at Dad and gets a hug from Mom after they were away for four long nights celebrating Dad's 30th Birthday...While a great time was had by all, we really missed our little bear.

Mom and Dad spent three days in beautiful Charleston, SC with Aunt Leah and Uncle Kyle. We snapped this photo of an antique store...hmm, Queen Charlotte- that sounds about right..

But it was a rough start to the trip as Charlotte got her worst cold yet three days before Mom and Dad were set to leave. 101 temps, lots of mucus, vomiting, and one unhappy baby made it really hard for us to leave our little girl. Luckily, by the day we left her fever was gone and she was on the mend. Unluckily, as soon as we stepped off the plane in Carolina, Robin's sinuses revealed that they had caught the very same cold.

Charlotte enjoys her singing Giraffe Valentine's Day present from Dad.
A Big Thank You to Charlotte's Grandparents who did an excellent job taking care of her for us during a rough time. She continued to heal while with all three of her Grandparents this weekend and was in tip-top shape when we got her back. We are lucky we can count on all three of you to take such great care of our girl!

The Bright Side of the Road...

Charlotte poses for pictures on the day she turned 8 months old!

Charlotte tilts her head to the side to examine something... this is one of our favorite new things for Charlotte. If she is sitting there and she wants to see something she will tilt her head down and look at it or you!

Charlotte really likes looking at the dogs now..when she is close enough she will reach out to grab them as she did here with Wyatt. While Gracie is more interested in Charlotte in general, Wyatt is more amiable and tolerant when grabbed by those little fingers.

Like you've never made this face before...

What?

Charlie enjoys sunday morning after spending her 9th consecutive night without the swaddle! She is doing much better and so are mom and dad. She goes down really easy and if she wakes up she generally puts herself back to sleep within 10 minutes.

I just like this picture..

Let's hug it out.. come on..

Charlotte likes wearing Dad's hat.

Charlotte sits and thinks about how exciting next weekend will be..she gets to spend the entire weekend with all of her grandparents! Yay!!
