She's an angel of the first degree..

We're back again, here is Charlie celebrating mother's day with her beautiful mother.

Three generations Garcia-Rix-Aagenas...

Charlie and Robin enjoying the fire on mother's day.

Another fire pic, aren't we supposed to be done with fires in May?

Charlie and Nana Rose on mother's day....

Look at those smiles..

Another shot with Abuelita Rosaura..

With celebrated mother's day by going out to breakfast and then having Rose over for dinner later that evening. We took Granny B to lunch on friday to celebrate with her.

All of us on mother's day.

In April we went on a visit back to Southwest Michigan to see Great Grandma and Great Grandpa. We also go to see some old friends, here I am with Jud, Q, and Baby Luke.

Here Q and I are off with our youngins...

Charlie checked out the Silver Beach Carousel with Great Nana Charlotte..

Here is a great pic of the two Charlotte's enjoying the carousel.

Charlotte loved the carousel and brings up going to watch the horses again just about every day.

Charlotte reaches out to her friend Baby Luke. She was pretty interested in Luke until Dad held him for a lil too long.

Charlie and Great Nan enjoying the carousel.

Charlottesquared

Charlotte loved the first half of the carousel ride but got a little freaked out haflway through and wanted it to stop.

Charlie loved spending time with Great Grandpa Al.

Charlotte let Great Grandpa Al hold her pretty early on, which is a big step for her with men.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Charlie and mom enjoying the lilacs this spring.

My girl...

Charlie now goes down the slide on her own, ready for the water park this fall.

Charlotte grabbing for lilacs to give to mom.

Charlotte and mom hanging out in the backyard.

Charlie reaches the bottom of the slide successfully..a proud moment.

Another shot in the lilacs..

And finally, the trip that feels like it happened a year ago- our trip to Melbourne to camp with Grandma and Grandpa over spring break.

Papa and Charlotte enjoy breakfast in the "bus" as Charlie referred to the motorhome.

Charlie and Papa playing in the sur...

Papa and Charlie walking on Melbourne beach..

Mom and Nana on the beach one night...one rowdy spring break!

I love this picture of Charlie grabbing shells with the palm tree in the background.

Nana B and Charlotte playing on the beach will Charlotte clutching her flavor of that week - a yard flamingo.

Charlotte and her mom playing in the florida heat.

Another cool palm tree pic.

I really like the palm tree.....

Charlotte strolling with her grandparents down the beach...

The three of of us had a great time in Florida and enjoyed spending time with Nana, Papa, and Maizey in the bus.

Charlotte and I taking a break inside the motorhome, muching an apple.

Charlotte loved playing in the waves and was pretty fearless with the water.

Another late night shell expedition, luckily we did not cart too many home with us.

It looks like she is writing in the sand in this one.

Here Charlotte is with the infamous "mingo" that she was obsessed with during the first few days of the trip.

Charlotte putting up the beach chair that her Papa bought for her.
Thanks for checking us out again, sorry the posts are getting fewer and farther in between, I'm finding it is much easier and faster to post regularly on Facebook. Charlie is doing great and is a ton of fun right now. She is picking up new words daily and seems to wow us with one new thing each day.

21 months, Thousands of Smiles, Countless Happy Memories...and our 100th Post!

Once again she is back and excited about the 100th Post on her BabyBlog.

Here is our girl enjoying some warm early spring weather, she has loved getting back outside and has a lot of fun in the back yard.

Laughing as she exchanges growls with her Dad- a little trick I use to get her to smile for the camera.

This was a nice day...

Playing with some toys and her new soccer ball. She is getting much better at playing independently.

Preparing to kick her first real soccer ball. We picked it up for her yesterday and I can't wait to practice with her in the yard. She can kick it but no dribbling yet.
One frame later after she kicked the ball, camera wasn't fast enough to catch it.

70% of people admit anonymously to picking their nose...4% admit to eating it... thankfully we are not in that exclusive club.

Having fun with Dad...

This is the first of a series of three pictures showing one of Charlotte's favorite tasks - being a helper for her mom. One of the ways she helps is to grab the dog food bowl from mom at the door and deliver it to the rack.

Here she is carrying the bowl to the waiting rack...being an excellent helper.

And...the second bowl wasn't so lucky....a little spill that was handled in stride by our little helper.

Charlie grins will thinking about our up coming trip to Florida... we are all very excited.

Today produced a new and exciting game..stroller/cart racing around the first floor. Charlotte really enjoyed being chased around with her cart. Rough on the back's of us old folks but well worth the fun.

Shot 2 of mom in pursuit during this game that is sure to be a steady hit for an increasingly active lil girl.

Purple bear found his way to our house from Grandma Rose's and got a stroller ride today. Each day there are anywhere from 2 to 4 stuffed animals and toys that make the trek back and forth depending upon Charlie's fancy.

On the stroll....

With Dad on the back deck on St. Patrick's Day.

Whoops..this one got in here twice..enjoy it again!

The water in Mom's bottle always tastes better than the water in her own sippy.

Leapin' Lizards...if you don't know that phrase than apparently you don't watch the movie Annie every other day like we do. It has quickly become Charlotte's favorite and she loves the songs, dancing, and of course Sandy.

We had an awesome night with our friends Jess and Josh and their daughter Sutton. Pizza and beer for the adults and the time of her young life for Charlie.

It took Charlotte about 90 minutes to warm up to Sutton (2.5 years old) but once she did they had a great time playing.

This was the first time we had ever seen Charlie actually play with another kid and it was so much fun. We can't wait to get her around Sutton and other kids to see her enjoying play the way she did this night.

For a week after this night every day Charlotte would ask for "Dutton" and would look around the house for her.

Cool picture taken by Mom, Charlotte loves to look out the windows and say "Hi" and "ByeBye" to everyone.

Mmmmmmm.......

In mid-February Charlie got a horrific cold that seemed to last for the whole month. Here she is in between sneezes.

If this doesn't epitomize what it feels like to be sick I don't know what does. I speak from experience as I caught this cold and proceeded to sniffle and annoy co-workers for an additional two weeks. Kid germs are the worst!

That's it for now, Charlotte is doing great and we are having more fun than ever. We will check in with pics from our trip to Florida upon our return. Stay classy and thanks for stoppin' by.
